THE COUPLE:

We’re globetrotting Sydneysiders and we left our hearts all over the world. From last count, we’ve set foot in 36 countries, 100+ cities and still counting.

We will be staying put in our hometown of Sydney for the time being, whilst we save and plan for our next adventure which will hopefully be returning to Norway in the summer of 2017. Stay tuned.

AILENE:

I’m obsessed with getting my passport stamped, saving and planning for my next adventure. I believe I got bitten by the travel bug in 2003 and since then, my mind and my bank account has been wandering off in faraway places.

I’d like to think I have some sort of creative eye, so I would say I’m a very amateur street photographer. My phone and camera go wherever I go. I love people watching, breathtaking landscapes, good food and great company.

I love it when people bend my ear about their travel tales over a bottle glass of Argentinian Malbec. And for those who know me well – and if you don’t, you will soon learn – that I can’t function without a great cup of coffee.

MOE:

He’s not much on words. In fact, I’m typing this for him (Men! Seriously!)

Like most ‘boyz’, he loves his toys – gadgets, cars, cameras, electronics. He has a special connection with his iPhone – believe me, even I won’t try breaking up that relationship.

Like myself, he loves to travel – but he’s an overpacker. Although to be fair, I do take up valuable real estate in his luggage everytime we go away somewhere.

 

WHO OR WHAT IS RHEACOLLECTIONS.COM

“Rhea” is part of my name (pronounced re, rey or reeyah). My aim for this blog is to share our world adventures and hopefully provide useful and practical travel tips, food reviews and everything else in between.

Whether you’re a full time, part time or a seasonal traveller like us, once you get bitten by the travel bug, it is incurable.
