Ok so this blog post is not directly travel-related, but for those of you who are not aware, today is Daffodil Day across Australia. Excerpt from the official Daffodil Day website on behalf of the Cancer Council Australia: “This year, thousands of Australians will help raise vital funds in the fight against cancer by ordering Daffodil Day merchandise to sell, volunteering to help out on the day and donating. We couldn’t do it without you and appreciate your support in helping Cancer Council raise vital funds for research, education, prevention and support.” On behalf of people from work, a colleague bought a daffodil for everyone to support this fantastic cause.
